Jan se Kombuis was started in the midst of South Africa’s first hard lockdown in 2020  by Chef Jan after working in the restaurant and hospitality industry for years at numerous kitchens and lodges. Chef Jan had a dream of his own business and as is his motto, “No time like the present”, he dove straight into opening Jan se Kombuis. He has served hundreds of satisfied customers and have also started another dream of his – The Jan se Kombuis Kookskool that offers kids of all ages cooking classes on a weekly basis.

It is with great excitement and gratitude that Jan se Kombuis keeps growing, pushing the curb and excelling as a small, proudly South African business.
